Managing Director, Advisory Services
Darcy Illg, CMA, is Managing Director of RINA’s Advisory Services practice. She has 20+ years experience heading Finance and Business Operations in global high growth companies in roles ranging from Operations Manager to CFO. Darcy joined RINA in 2021 to support RINA’s Advisory Services practice, which is committed to delivering deep value to clients through exceptional attention to client outcomes and success. Darcy’s experience as a boots-on-the-ground CFO and VP-Finance, with experience building and growing Accounting and Finance teams from the ground up, managing international Accounting Operations, and leading regulated-industry Finance teams, allows her to bring a client-focused perspective to help clients strengthen and grow their unique businesses.
Darcy is also Lecturer at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, where she teaches in the core MBA class, Leadership Communications, and is a routine guest lecturer in the elective Financial Information Analysis class, where she brings her interactive “Budgeting and Forecasting in the Real World” seminar. She is actively sought out as a speaker for highly technical networking groups looking to provide storytelling training for individuals who “talk in numbers.”
Darcy earned an MBA from Berkeley-Haas, is a Certified Management Accountant, holds a Certificate in International Financial Reporting from ACCA, and is Certified in Blockchain Business Foundations. She has served on non-profit boards in a variety of capacities from financial to operational to executive roles.
Darcy lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her two daughters and her husband. Her favorite activity (after playing with numbers in spreadsheets) is to sit down with good friends over food and wine while sharing stories and ideas.
