Charles Sterck, CPA, is a Principal with RINA and the Head of the Firm’s business consulting services. Charles joined the RINA’s San Francisco office in 2018 and has over 40 years of public accounting experience. He assists businesses and their owners across diverse industries resolve key organizational challenges and establish financial goals. Charles is experienced in corporate and partnership taxation and has served as an expert witness. In addition, he was an audit manager for KPMG. Prior to joining RINA, Charles used his tax, audit and forensic experience to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses through unique planning strategies and business development workshops. He is highly skilled at conducting needs analysis and designing effective, customized roundtable programs for business leaders and their teams.
In addition to assisting organizations achieve financial success, Charles has extensive experience providing tax preparation and planning services to closely held businesses and their owners, and high net worth individuals and families. He provides clients a tailored approach by assisting them with charitable planning and giving, stock option planning and consulting, and investment strategies. He has previously taught all levels of accounting classes at the University of San Francisco, City College of San Francisco, and Golden Gate University.
