Status of RINA Operations
Dear Clients and Friends,
We appreciate the many comments and communications we have shared together during this COVID-19 crisis. We wish that you, your families, and your businesses are well and strong.
We have worked with many of you to navigate the government programs and the economic realities. We hope we have helped.
As the counties begin lifting restrictions on movements and operations, we wanted to let you know RINA’s plans.
On June 15th, RINA started allowing a small number of staff to work in the firm’s offices. Only staff who ask to work in the RINA office instead of remotely will be scheduled into the offices. Employees will wear masks in the offices and there will be social distancing, hygiene, and contact logging procedures in place.
We are still not meeting face-to-face with clients. We are not ready to welcome clients in our offices or to visit them at their sites.
Ideally, our interactions together should be via electronic transfer, email, phone, and Zoom. We have collaboration tools in place to facilitate a secure, 100%-electronic interchange. Please call or email your firm contact if you have questions about using these tools.
As we announced in March, we will limit our physical interactions to comply with the instructions of the government and medical experts. This means that clients who previously received hard-copy financial statements and/or tax returns will now receive electronic copies. Additionally, we are asking that clients who have traditionally provided us with original documents via hard copy instead provide us with electronic copies.
If a physical item must be shared, we encourage you to mail documents and allow us to mail items to you. However, if you need to drop something off or pick something up, please make advance arrangements by phone, and our staff will meet you at the front door to transfer the materials.
We will normalize our operating procedures when it is safe to do so for our families, communities, clients, and ourselves. We thank you for adapting with us to the COVID-19 “normal”.
If we can be of help in anyway, professionally or personally, please reach out. We are here to be of service.
