She has the expertise that comes from direct involvement with tens of thousands of tax deferred exchanges for real property. Teresa earned the professional designation of Certified Exchange Specialist in 2004.
A frequent instructor of accredited 1031 courses to real estate and tax professionals, Teresa brings over 25 years of experience and expertise to the field. Ray Evans CPA, is a Tax Partner with RINA and has been with the Firm since 2005. With more than 25 years of experience, Ray brings his expertise in navigating the complexities of tax laws both to his clients and to the firm. Ray provides tax consulting and compliance services that meet the specialized needs of small to mid-size companies and their business owners with an emphasis in real estate and construction. He specializes in business tax planning and compliance, multi-state taxation, business succession planning, and individual tax planning and preparation.
Roshan Weeramantry is the Director of RINA Wealth Management Services, LLC (RWMS) a Registered Investment Advisory firm and a division of RINA Accountants & Advisors (RINA). RWMS is completely independent and brings to the table a more holistic approach by incorporating wealth management services as an option for our existing tax clients. As a result, Roshan works with RINA’s tax team to ensure that client’s financial and estate plans are designed as tax efficiently as possible. He works with his client’s attorneys and CPAs to make sure everyone is working towards the same goals and plays a vital role in making sure the larger plan gets executed properly.
Roshan’s prior experience has shown him how widely the quality of the client’s experience varies depending on the advisor’s approach. While many advisors are committed to doing what’s right for their clients, others remain stuck in the traditional Wall Street culture that prioritizes company profits over people. Roshan is committed to making a positive impact on client’s lives and provides social impact and socially responsible investing for clients that want to align their investment portfolios with their own personal beliefs and philosophies.
