Jill Broadhurst with BIG CITY Property Group has over 20 years experience in real estate investment and management, specifically working in the Oakland and San Francisco markets. As Former Executive Director for the East Bay Rental Housing Association she is a recognized industry leader in housing policy, property management and pre-purchase due diligence. As a local lobbyist, she managed campaigns focused on real estate, rent control and property owners rights. Jill speaks often on panels and other public engagements concerning rental housing policy at the state and local level.
Chuck Alfonzo is a Partner at Burnham Brown and Chair of their Real Estate Practice Group. Mr. Alfonzo has over 20 years’ experience in civil litigation with an emphasis in real estate, environmental toxic torts, premises liability, construction and product liability. His real estate and premises liability expertise includes all aspects of commercial and residential landlord/tenant law including leasing, habitability, wrongful eviction, unlawful detainer, Mobilehome Residency Law, rent control and eviction control; construction defect; and transactional issues.
