Tom Neff, CPA Tax Manager tneff@rina.com  Tom joined RINA in March 2002 and is presently a Tax Manager in the Oakland office. Originally from New Jersey, he received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton, OH in 1986, before going to work with a large Wall Street law firm, where he worked for five years developing his accounting skills. Experience Tom relocated with his wife, son and daughter to San Francisco in September 1995, working for a local CPA firm supervising audit and accounting engagements before deciding on a specialization in tax. He has gained valuable experience in all areas of taxation, with an added emphasis on estates and trusts, expatriate tax issues, and real estate partnerships. In addition, Tom has spent three years as the firm’s specialist in the area of California Enterprise Zone Tax Credits, and has helped businesses throughout California save millions of dollars in state taxes.
Tom is an avid skier and soccer player, coaches his children’s soccer teams, and volunteers for the Oakland Boys and Girls Club annual charity golf outing. Service Specialties Estates & Trusts
