Brenda Jemmott, CPA

Brenda joined RINA in December 2006 as a Tax Manager in the Oakland office. Originally from New York, she received her Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh in 1995, prior to working at a public accounting firm in Buffalo, NY for eight years. Brenda joined the IRS in 2003 as a Revenue Agent in the Large to Mid-Size business division.

Experience
Brenda’s experience includes performing and supervising audit, accounting and tax engagements. While at the IRS, she worked independently auditing large corporations where she obtained experience with complex corporate transactions. She has valuable experience in all areas of taxation, with an added emphasis on corporations and partnerships, merger and acquisition tax issues, and real estate partnerships. In addition, Brenda is working on her certificate in International Taxation.

Brenda enjoys running and hiking in the East Bay parks with her family and three dogs.
