CPA Nominated to Regional Parks Foundation Board of Directors
Oakland, CA – RINA accountancy corporation, a regional accounting and consulting firm is proud to announce that Jay M. Gilson, Stockholder, has been nominated to the Board of Directors for the Regional Parks Foundation as of March 9, 2006. The Regional Parks Foundation’s mission is to support the Regional Parks through fundraising that provides broader public access, resource protection and preservation, educational and recreational programs, and acquisitions of parklands. For the past eighteen months, Jay has been actively involved assisting the Foundation as a member of the Planned Giving Committee.

Jay is a Tax Stockholder in RINA’s Oakland office. He currently manages the firm tax department and is responsible for RINA’s tax posture, compliance systems and firm wide tax training. He specializes in assisting business owners with their exit strategies.

Jay enjoyed the Regional Parks as a youngster growing up in the East Bay. As an avid mountain biker, Jay and his wife continue to be an active and enthusiastic users of the Regional Parks.
